THEME - Pops, Locks & Range of Motion - 2.15pm to 3.15pm @ £5.50
THEME - Pirates of the Caspian Sea - 3.30pm to 5.45pm @ £7.50 Including refreshments
In the first half of this workshop we will be covering pops, locks and range of motion to show how sharp moves can be contrasted with fluidity to create accents and add interest. In the second part we'll be shivering your timbers and embrace all the wonders of this light hearted style covering a fun dance choreography to make you want to board the Black Pearl and sail off into the sunset with Jack Sparrow! Come-on my hearties.
urday 1st October - Dance Workshop
ARMED, CHARMED & FABULOUS... Saturday 1st October This workshop will look at taking your dancing to another level with arm movements and gestures to create a fantasy feel and other wordly experience to develop your dancer within and captivate your audiences.
The session is broken into 3 themed hour sessions: 'Fantasy', 'Magical' and 'Mystery' and will use a specific piece of music to encourage expression and emotion.
Please bring along a long flowing skirt to wear, and a prop of your choosing for the 'Magical' section
Workshop begins 2.15pm and ends 5.15pm Cost £11.00 & Includes refreshments
Saturday 12th November - Dance Workshop 'FESTIVE FUN CHOREOGRAPHY' Saturday 12th November A double dose of festive fun and frolicking in this workshop to give you plenty of time to perfect the dances in time to impress friends and family. Starting with a simple dance routine that's easy to pick up... and guaranteed to get your feet tapping and hips dropping.
For the second routine, we have a beautiful piece of Christmas music that has been given the 'belly treatment'... perfect for a magical veil dance!
Session from 1.15pm to 3.15pm - Please bring your veils! Cost £8.50 & Refreshments provided
Saturday 3rd December - Christmas Hafla 'WINTER SHIMMYLAND' Celebrate the festive season with a hint of the magic of the east...
The evening will start with the performance platform - open to all in any style - traditional, fusion, gypsy, ATS, tribal, fun...and festive!
